We are looking for passionate goal oriented people who have a passion for genuine hospitality, great food, and good atmosphere. Restaurant or catering experience is nice but it is not a requirement.
Will you help me find a location and build my restaurant?
We will do a market analysis to assess the market and determine the best trade areas for our concept. Once you have located a specific site, we will evaluate and advise you about efficacy of the site.
Your cafe will be designed based on your site-specific needs. We will provide you guidelines for selecting a general contractor to build your restaurant and managing the construction process from start to finish. We will also provide you with the sources for turnkey equipment, furniture, fixture, and small wares packages necessary to operate your restaurant.
What type of training do you provide to new franchisees?
We believe that your success with CoffeeNet will be determined by how well you are trained. We require a total of 12 weeks of training at one of our cafes. This time will be divided up appropriately between three members of your management team. Your pre-opening training will consist of both classroom and on-the-job training covering operations, administration, marketing, and human resources. You will be required to pass both written and skills tests in order to qualify for opening a CoffeeNet.
We will send our team of experts to your cafe before, during, and after your grand opening to assist you with employee training and store operations. We will provide you with ongoing support through regular site visits and telephone support 7 days a week.
You will purchase your food and supplies through our authorized vendors. We have negotiated national contracts with our vendors so you will receive the benefit of our volume pricing. Our vendors are completely familiar with the items you will need to operate your restaurant. Your only responsibility is to tell them how much you want to order and when you want it delivered.
What is the initial investment?
Your initial investment will range from $132,700 - $180,000 depending on your location and other site specific factors.
What is your franchise fee for a single
CoffeeNet?
CoffeeNet offers three types of franchises. The current franchise fee for Gourmet Internet Kiosk and wholesale territory is $5,000. The current franchise fee for CoffeeNet Gourmet Cafe is $15,000. The current franchise fee for CoffeeNet Gourmet Internet Community Cafe is $20,000.
The current royalty fee 3.5% of gross sales. This is waived for the first 9 months of operation.
What is your advertising fee?
Currently our National advertising fee is 2% of sales. These funds are used to pay for public relations, our loyalty card program, and creative services.
What type of sales and profits can I expect from operating a CoffeeNet?
The Federal Trade Commission prohibits us from making any sales or earning claims to potential franchisees. You will rely on existing restaurants to provide you with much of this information. There are also sales and expense benchmarks for our market segment widely available on the internet. With this information and additional site-specific expenses (rent, taxes, and common area maintenance charges), you will be able to construct a reasonable estimate of sales and profits for your location.
